Sammie Schouten
Sammie Schouten (2007) is one of the top Dutch recruits looking for a strong and ambitious college tennis team to join in the Fall of 2025. She is currently ranked within the top 5 of her age group, and started playing some ITF's abroad as well. Her most recent, and best result is winning the Dutch national singles and doubles championships under 16.
About Sammie Schouten
At the age of 11, she entered the Amjoy academy in Veldhoven, where she has been training a lot and made significant progress. She really likes the sport of tennis and is excited to play for a team and be surrounded by people with a top sport mentality. Therefore, she would like to join a program where tennis is taken seriously, which could prepare her for the ultimate goal of becoming a pro.
She is currently enrolled in high school, and expected to graduate in the summer of 2025 from the VWO level (highest in the Netherlands).
Sammie is an offensive player. She likes to dominate the point with her powerful forehand. While in college, she would like to improve her footwork, add some speed to the serve, and become mentally even stronger.
