Charlotte Verweij

Level
Charlotte plays for Rood-Wit U18-1 in the Super A (one of the highest competitions in the Dutch youth league).  She is both a forward and midfielder who can create dangerous attacks. She is very versatile which allows her to be of importance anywhere on the field. She is now consistently playing with Rood-Wit Women’s 1, who compete in the Overgangsklasse (one of the highest competitions in the Dutch senior league)

Playing Style
Charlotte is a true goalscorer who combines scoring ability with an incredible work rate. Her constant effort on the field, both offensively and defensively, makes her a vital asset to her team and a threat to opponents. She has excellent field insight and consistently pressures opponents with high energy. Known for always running her tackle back, Charlotte is highly dependable in both attack and defense, ensuring her presence is felt across the field. On top of that, she is very aware of positioning, Charlotte effectively creates space for herself and her teammates. As a midfielder, she is a playmaker. She is the one that can set-up an attack from the midfield with her technical and tactical insights. Moreover, she is a true teamplayer and is a natural leader on the field. 
Her movement off the ball opens up passing lanes and goal-scoring opportunities, which shows that she is valuable playmaker in addition to being a scorer.

High Performance
Charlotte has been allowed to play for Rood-Wit Women’s 1 consistently, who compete in the Overgangsklasse.
Additionally, she represented Team North-Holland U14, showcasing her talent grom a young age.

Academics
Charlotte is currently in her senior year of high school (HAVO). She is expecting to graduate in June, 2025. She is really excited to play in the U.S. and wants to compete with her new team starting in the Fall of 2025.
