About Emma Staal

Currently in high school, Emma has set her sights on an exciting opportunity to enroll in an American university starting in the fall of 2024. With a keen interest in marketing or communications, she hopes to merge her passion for tennis with her academic pursuits.

Throughout her tennis journey, Emma has honed two key strengths in her game: her backhand and service. Her backhand has shown great consistency and precision, while her service often provides her with an advantageous position where she can be offensive. Emma’s strategic approach to her serve allows her to take the next ball early, asserting pressure and controlling the pace of the game.

As Emma prepares to embark on the next phase of her tennis career, she has identified an area for improvement – her footwork. Recognizing that becoming a better mover on the court will be crucial for her progress, she’s dedicated to enhancing her agility and positioning to elevate her overall performance.

Some of her best results so far:
Win over Susanne Rehorst (UTR 7.06) 36 63 61
Win over Sanne Schoormans (UTR 7.58) 46 61 64
Win over Maud Scholten (UTR 7.99) 63 64
