Tristan Sanders
Tristan (Nijmegen, 2005) is an ambitious swimmer with grand future plans. He aims to participate in the Olympic Games in the breaststroke discipline. The Dutch-Italian swimmer, with his two nationalities, possesses a beautiful combination of the down-to-earth Dutch mentality and the passionate Italian spirit. This combination enables Tristan to reach great heights.
About Tristan Sanders
His best event is the 50-meter breaststroke. Tristan loves sprinting and considers the breaststroke his strongest discipline. In his age group, Tristan ranked 11th in the Netherlands. Like his twin brother Gaio, Tristan also competes for the Eredivisie team of Aqua Novio 94.
In America, Tristan aims to improve his starts and swimming technique. He also seeks to enhance his performance in the 50 and 100 meters freestyle and butterfly events. With these improvements, he hopes to follow in the footsteps of his role models Adam Peaty and Nicolo Martinenghi.

With his sights set on joining a college swimming program in the Fall of 2024, he is poised to make a significant impact in the pool.
