Damian's Dream: Baseball in America Our son always had one big dream: to play baseball in America and get as far as possible. When we got in touch with Slamstox, Damian was only 14 years old. It was an intensive process, with tests and all kinds of steps, but it was absolutely worth it. We experienced Slamstox's guidance as enormously nice, they were always ready to support us and gave us the confidence that we were on the right path. Their help helped us enormously to make this dream come true. As of September 2024, Damian is a student at a boarding school in Thompson, Connecticut, where he is now a sophomore in high school. He is living his dream and playing high level baseball there while having the time of his life. We are extremely proud of what Damian has accomplished and grateful for the support from Slamstox throughout the process!

After a nice first meeting at the Foreign Exchange in Utrecht, the ball started rolling. Due to the short reaction time and swift action of Slamstox field hockey specialist and experience expert Marle, our daughter Tessa could still participate in the showcase at Oranje Rood. An adventure in itself. After we had chosen our 'package' (you decide how much you arrange yourself), we received a clear overview with a step-by-step plan of all the things that needed to be arranged. The Slamstox app is an ideal communication tool, e.g. for a short question. Periodically a video call to discuss the state of affairs and a weekly update by e-mail with checked off and open 'to do's' makes it all very clear. The collaboration with Slamstox was perfect for us. The contacts, knowledge and professional guidance they provide led to placement at a great university with a super field hockey program.

Very good experience with Slamstox, I myself am going to America as a student athlete and together with my parents have been well guided in the process, they help you with all your questions and keep all promises. Respond quickly and you notice that they know what they are doing and really understand all things. Very positive about Slamstox and without Slamstox it would have become a lot harder.

As parents of an 18-year-old son who plays volleyball, we are very positive about our experiences with Slamstox. From the first meeting until yesterday, the arrival in America at the university, we were included in every step of the process, we received help where necessary and our questions were answered immediately and completely or they were returned to us as quickly as possible, if they had to ask the coach in America for example (time difference). Appointments were made (including video calling) and kept to the minute and plenty of time was taken. There was also frequent app contact. Great experience with Slamstox! I have been on campus in Illinois for a week now, where I play tennis in combination with a master's degree, and Slamstox has helped me a lot in this process. They have a lot of experience with various athletes and sports, so there is always an answer to your question.

We have had incredibly good experiences with slamstox. Meanwhile, our daughter is studying and playing field hockey in America. This was achieved with all the help and tips from Marle van Dessel and colleagues. At first we thought we could organize it ourselves but it is more than worth the money. First of all, they have contacts at many more universities and also had a good idea where our daughter could end up well. Meanwhile with an almost full scholarship in a great place!
