Field Hockey Showcase 2023 – Coaches

On Friday December 8th, Slamstox will host the 2023 Field Hockey Showcase!

After carefully evaluation last year’s Showcase, have decided to split the day into two groups: a morning group and an afternoon group. This way the players are always on 1 field, making it easier to watch multiple players at once. We are expecting a total of 60 players, 30 in each group.

(9.00AM: kick-off)
9.30AM: start hockey part group 1
12.15PM: end hockey part group 1
12.15-1.00PM: break, lunch
1.00-14.00PM: speed dates group 1
2.00PM: start hockey part group 2
4.45PM: end hockey part group 2
4.45-5.30PM: break, quick bite
5.30-6.30PM: speed dates group 2

Dinner the night before – Dec 7
The night before the Showcase we will host dinner/drinks with the Slamstox crew and other coaches. All taken care of by Slamstox of course! Please let Marle or Eva know if you are interested in joining us.

We expect players to attend the showcase who can make an impact at the D1, D2 and D3 level. We will keep all attending coaches updated on the players that have signed up to join us. Please contact us if you would like to learn specific details about our players in advance.

Hotel

Located right next to the hockeyclub is a 4-star hotel: Van Der Valk Eindhoven. Across the road from the hockeyclub (within walking distance) is a lower-budget option: Bastion Hotel Eindhoven. We are looking into setting up a group rate at Van Der Valk, so please let us know if you are interested in staying there.

Flight/transport

You can fly into Amsterdam (Schiphol), Brussels (Zaventem/Charlesleroi) or Düsseldorf (Dusseldorf Airport). From Amsterdam you can reach Eindhoven through a convenient train ride. Brussels and Dusseldorf are within driving distance with a rental car.
