About Amy Tijmstra

Amy's strength lies in her explosive starts and ability to maintain speed through the race, consistently delivering top performances. Amy is focused on continuing her progress in track and field, together with her twin sister Wendy, who is also in the process of finding a college track and field team in the U.S.

Amy began competing in track and field at the age of 8. At the age of 12, she joined a competitive training group and really started to make progress. In 2022, she had the opportunity to compete in the International Children's Games (ICG) in Coventry, where she made it to the B-final in the 100m and helped her team secure 2nd place in the 4x100m relay.
