Sports: Volleyball

Albertine (2005) is from Oosthem and grew up in a real volleyball family. Her father, mother, uncles and aunts all played at a high level. Albertine herself has been playing volleyball since she was five years old and in the meantime she also participated in judo. She decided to fully focus on volleyball because she loved the team feeling. She now plays for VC Sneek in the third division of the Netherlands.
Albertine is not only athletic but also very creative and musical. She plays the accordion, piano and much more. She is also a member of the musical club and enjoys playing music with her friends after school. As a person, Albertine is very calm and down-to-earth.
Albertine trains a lot and also knows that she can train hard. But not only is the training important to her, at school she tries to make the best of it as well. This is therefore reflected in her GPA of 3.50. Albertine hopes to find a team in America that communicates well and is extroverted.
