2025: A New Chapter Begins
A new year lies ahead, full of new opportunities and challenges. Before we look ahead to 2025, let’s take a moment to reflect on what 2024 has brought us. The absolute highlight? Our 10-year anniversary, celebrated at the iconic PSV Stadium. What a party it was! A moment to pause together and reflect on how far we’ve come, with pictures and an aftermovie keeping the memories alive. But 2024 brought us so much more than just that one big event…
Changing the game
At Slamstox, it’s all about one thing: student-athletes pushing themselves to the max. Our student-athletes do that time and time again. 2024 was no exception. Two of our absolute stars, Nyls Korstanje and Else Praasterink, showed the world what it means to be a Slamstox student-athlete. Both made it to the finals at the Olympic Games in Paris, and Nyls even took home a bronze medal at the World Championships in Budapest! We saw nearly 250 student-athletes head abroad, securing a whopping $30 million in scholarships between them. Our community keeps growing, now consisting of athletes from 30 different sports, across 26 countries, and active in 49 U.S. states. Only Alaska is missing—who wants to go there next year?!
Universities are increasingly recognizing us as the place to scout talent. Over 100 universities came to the Netherlands this year for our events, showcases, and match days. Many student-athletes also found their dream jobs through our After College program. How cool is it to see companies realizing that student-athletes are worth absolute gold?!
Slamstox 2.0: Ready for 2025
In 2025, we’re taking it a step further. We’re fully engaged in new programs for boarding schools and universities within Europe. Our After College program is growing faster than ever, and companies are increasingly seeing that student-athletes are real “assets” in the business world. With Slamstox 2.0, we’re launching a completely new look and feel, from branding to website. This gives us even more power to support and inspire student-athletes. Big love for the team
What a year it’s been for our team. They didn’t just deliver under pressure—they’ve consistently shown what it means to be part of the Slamstox family. They give their all every day to bring out the best in themselves, each other, and our student-athletes. It’s not always easy, but thanks to their hard work and dedication, Slamstox is where it is today. Without them, there would be no Slamstox. Big love for my team!

Slamstox has been around for 10 years, and we couldn’t be prouder of the community we’ve built together. Our student-athletes are gamechangers. They’re not just changing their sport, they’re changing their lives. And that’s what it’s all about.
